About the Dutch Women Professors Network
The Dutch Women Professors Network (Landelijk Netwerk Vrouwelijke Hoogleraren, LNVH) began life informally in the nineties and became an independent foundation in August 2001. From 2001 until now, the LNVH has come in contact with harassment in academia in many different ways. They have used their knowledge and experience to develop this toolkit. Today, the LNVH is a network of over 1500 women professors, who together represent every discipline and all Dutch Universities. The network is run by a board of six professors and three bureau employees. Your story, suggestion for the knowledge base or question will land at the desk of the LNVH. It is the mission of the LNVH to promote and sustain equal representation of women in academia, works towards the betterment of the position of women of all backgrounds and pushes for an inclusive and safe academic community.
