Title IX is a federal civil rights law passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972. It prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or any other education program that receives funding from the federal government. In honour of it existing for 50 years in June 2022, MSU Today with Russ White created a podcast episode in which Ashely Baker talks about the significance of Title IX and how the law has evolved.
