From March to September 2016, the Diversity Commission conducted a study on diversity at the University of Amsterdam, acknowledging the importance of actively engaging with diversity to promote social justice. The Commission focused on two aspects: diversity of people and diversity in knowledge. Based on their findings, the authors put forward several recommendations to improve social justice and diversity at the University of Amsterdam, categorized under six main goals.
